Cool Stuff

I really like this guy. His name is Randel. He's cool idk. Currently I’m on Lucid 26 still kinda new to ranfren. I discovered him sometime last summer and rediscovered him last week. 

It’s a surreal dark comedy about a young humanoid creature and his brother having fun and goofy miscellaneous adventures. Its pretty much everything I’ve been wanting to see in media.

I also like exploring weird and strange concepts in my art, and before I found ranfren I was really the only artist I knew that yk did that kinda stuff, so when I found the comic and the website and all these other things. It was so cool, I loved it. It’s a huge inspiration to me and inspired one of my longest lasting projects. The Devons! 

I would link the website but I'm not sure if the creator would like that. But it’s relativity easy to find, so it shouldn’t be hard if you want to explore it.

Garfield. Garfield. GARFIELD. What can I say about him, ITS GARF!! He met god, he might be immortal, he murdered an old woman in one of his nine lives (I think, I don’t remember that piece of lore all that much tbh) point is he’s done a lot. Last year was the year of garf for me. I just think he’s cute, although tbh I don’t  really know why I like him so much. I just do. Although I do have a history of being obsessed with popular cats. From kindergarten to 1st grade I really liked Hello Kitty, then it was Pink Panther (he was also there when hello kitty was, but before I liked hello kitty better, than I just stared liking him more in 1st-2nd grade) Anyways from 5th-6th grade it was Felix the Cat, after that it’s garf from freshman year to now. Cool stuff. Although unlike the others Im starting a bit of a collection, I have two shirts, a whole onesie and currently saving up for the garf glass mugs (although I'm not sure if I should actually buy them cuz they might be radioactive)

Juno, what can I say about juno. It's my favorite movie, really wholesome too. It's about a 16 yr girl who gets pregnant and decides to give the baby for adoption, I don’t really know what else to say about it without spoiling it. But you should watch it.

INVANDER ZIM

ITS SO GOOD WATCH IT WATCH IT NOW!!!!!

Oki but fr go watch Invader zim. Its a American tv show about an alien named zim who is sent to earth with his stupid robot friend gir, and its really funny and charming its just really cool. This show inspired me a lot as a kid, especially my art style and stories. 

Persepolis is a comic autobiography by Marjane Satrapi. It's about her life growing up in Iran and some of her time in Europe too. I can't say much because I don't want to spoil it, but it's a great read, definitely one of my favorites.  

Edit: I see now that this book is on a book ban list for "Banned or challenged in schools for its critical perspective on political repression in Iran, Depictions of war and criticism of religion; banned for political content, Memoir of growing up in post-revolutionary Iran; banned for political themes and critique of government." 

Please Please Please, read it it's a very important read.
